Katrina Smiley Manager & Stylist
Katrina has been a stylist for over 7 years, and has been managing Hair Connection for 3 years. She loves learning new techniques in hair cutting and experimenting with colour. Her favourite products are Color Extend Total Recharge and Redken Velvet Geletine 07.
When Katrina isn't at the salon she is usually attending courses or spending time with her friends and family. She is especially excited about what the future may bring for the staff and family at the Hair Connection come in and see what we're up to.
Danielle Blanchard
Salon Director
Danielle has been working at the salon for 2 and a half years as the receptionist and merchandiser. She loves her job because she gets to learn new things all the time about the salon and beauty industry, and gets to work with great people everyday. Her favourite product is Blonde Glam Perfect Platinum Conditioning Treatment, and also loves the whole Extreme line. Danielle enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling and shopping.
Kathy Green
Stylist
Kathy has been a stylist for 22 years, she loves meeting new people and catching up with her current clients every visit. Kathy's favourite styling product is Align and really likes that Redken offers prescription hair care that helps clients with all of their hair needs. When Kathy isn't at the salon, she is spending time with her son Colton.
Reina Arnold
Stylist
Reina has been a stylist for 34 years, 10 of those she has been at the Hair Connection. She loves to meet new people and always has a smile on her face. She enjoys doing colours, cuts and perms. Her favourite products are Redken Extreme Anit-Snap and Redken Quick Dry hair spray.
Brian Tovey
Apprentice
Brian has been working in the industry for 3 years. He likes meeting new people and the people he works with. His favourite product line is Redken Fresh Curls. In Brian's off time he is usually playing hockey or performing with his bands.
Kristie MarronStudent
Kristie has recently moved to Canada from the North of England. She decided to do a co-op placement at the salon because she is very interested in the beauty industry. She is enjoying learning about the products we carry. Her favourite product line is Redken Extreme, and her favourite product is Redken Outshine.Kristie's hobbies include traveling, horseback riding and shopping.
Milena DietrichEsthetician
Milena has been in the industry for 4 years, she loves her job because she gets to work with people everyday and make them look and feel great. Her favourite hair products are Align and Iron Silk. She loves the Spa Ritual Line because it is vegan friendly and smells great. Milena also enjoys doing Bio Sculpture Gel Nails because the focus is not only on the look of your nails but also the overall health.
Tegan HewittSkin Therapist
Tegan is working with Milena, learning esthetic services. She decided she wanted to work in the beauty industry beacuse she loves the atmosphere and meeting new people. Her favourite hair product is Redken All Soft Silk Fuel, and she loves the Dermalogica skin care line especially the Skin Hydrating Booster.
Laura ClarkStylist
Laura grew up on a farm outside of Walkerton, and has been doing hair for 9 years. She lived in England for 4 1/2 years, and has recently moved back to the area with her husband and 2 girls Rylli & Hadlei. Laura loves getting creative with new looks. Her favourite products include Redkend Align, Orofluido and the All Soft line.
Courtney Blanchard
Student
Courtney is working after school and throughout the summer before she starts her highschool co-op here in the fall. She is interested in learning about careers in hair styling and esthetics. Her favourite product line is Blonde Glam and she also loves Tressa Watercolours Violet Wash shampoo. Courtney enjoys shopping, playing soccer & spending time with friends and family.
Brianne BroderickApprentice
Bri has recently moved back from Sarnia, where she was living for 9 years. She is interested in becoming a stylist and is excited to learn from the other stylists and meet new people. When she is not at work Bri enjoys shopping, playing rugby, and spending time with friends, family and her puppy Gia. Bri's favourite product line is Redken Extreme.
